Lauren Tanny was invited to lead CEO
forums for TEC (The Executive Committee)
International in 2004. Lauren is President
and CEO of TannyWood, whose corporate
services include corporate visions and
missions, strategic planning and implementation.
She has had a 25-year career in five
different industries.
Prior to TannyWood, Lauren was Chief
Operating Officer of Achieva College
Prep Centers, a provider of online college
prep courses for high school students
now owned by Kaplan. She grew Achieva’s
Schools Division from an idea into the
entire focus
of the company, expanding revenue by
a factor of 10 times in one year. She
previously managed a business unit for
publicly-traded Broderbund Software.
Her additional experience includes:
Vice President of Sales and Product
Development for Krames Communications,
a health education publisher; consumer
wine marketing for Gallo, Almaden and
The Wine Group; and finance and acquisitions
for Fireman’s Fund and CIGNA.
Lauren’s functional experience
includes general management, operations,
sales, marketing and finance. She is
an experienced facilitator, brainstorming
leader, coach and mentor. Lauren
has her MBA from the Stanford Graduate
School
of Business and is a magna cum laude
graduate
of the third class of women at Dartmouth
College.
A Board Member of the Association for
Corporate Growth (ACG), and a SCORE
counselor, Lauren resides with her husband
and two-year old son in Carmel Mountain
Ranch. |
