James Stewart, CPA, is a senior audit manager at J.H. Cohn who has 18 years of experience in public accounting serving small to medium-sized businesses. James also served two years as a controller in a medium-sized company.
James has extensive experience in technical areas of audit and review of clients in such diverse industries as manufacturing, distribution, real estate, technology, bio-technology, employee benefit plans, and public companies. James also has extensive experience in company mergers, acquisitions and sales and equity transactions.
His past accounting practice includes functioning as senior audit manager at two leading local San Diego accounting firms and senior accountant at a regional firm.
James graduated from San Diego State University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1990. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA’s.
