Mr. Kinsman, with over nineteen years'
private equity experience, founded Kinsman
Capital, LLC, in late 1998. As a principal,
he has participated in the successful
completion of more than 50 transactions.
Before founding Kinsman Capital, Mr.
Kinsman was a Senior Managing Director
at Pacific Corporate Group, Inc. (PCG),
responsible for managing a $2.5 billion
direct private equity investment program
for the California Public Employees'
Retirement System (CalPERS) as well
as the $50 million direct-equity portion
of two fund-of-funds vehicles managed
by PCG. Prior to joining PCG in 1994,
he was a principal of Charterhouse Group
International, a $1 billion private
investment firm; a founding partner
of Milley & Company, a middle-market
private investment firm; and an integral
member of Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation's
acquisition team. Mr. Kinsman has completed
investments in industries including
cable television, branded food products,
energy, medical devices, industrial
manufacturing, wholesale distribution,
and business services. His vast private
equity experience also encompasses several
years as a day-to-day operating executive.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Kinsman
received his undergraduate degree from
Yale University and his master's degree
in accounting from New York University. |
