Carl M. Fredericks, President, has over
thirty-five years of experience in investment
banking,
mergers and acquisitions, funding activities,
corporate finance, and investment management.
Mr. Fredericks founded Fredericks &
Associates
in 1982. From October 1995 to June 1998,
Mr. Fredericks was also a Principal
and Managing Director of Fredericks,
Shields & Co. a San Diego based investment
bank. He is a founder and active Partner
in Commercial Bridge Capital, LLC a
bride lending fund. He is also a founding
member
of Regent Partners, LLC, a related merchant
banking firm.
Mr. Fredericks was a Vice President
and Investment Manager with Westinghouse
Credit Corporation (“WCC”) from
1990 to 1991, responsible for managing
sponsored leveraged buy-outs and recapitalizations
of large and middle market companies.
Prior to his WCC experience he was with
City National Bank of Detroit (now National
City Bank) from 1970 to 1981, as a Vice
President and General Manager responsible
for managing the Bank’s European loan
portfolio. He was also General Manager
of the Bank’s London Branch from 1977
to 1980.
Mr. Fredericks earned his MBA in Finance
from Columbia University, Graduate School
of Business Administration, New York
City, and his BA in Economics from Denison
University, Granville, Ohio. In addition,
Mr. Fredericks, has served and continues
to serve on a number of various boards
of Directors, including XATA Corp. (NASDAQ:
XATA), and is actively involved in a
number of professional and community
associations, including the Association
for Corporate Growth and the Corporate
Directors Forum. He is also a trustee
of two family foundations charities
and a museum. |
